Q1: What is the nature ride?
A1: The Wounded Warrior Regiment’s, Warrior Athlete Reconditioning Program is hosting a nature ride at the Prince William County Park (Locust Shade) for wounded, ill and injured Marines from across the nation. Marine Corps personnel and their families are invited to join us on the nature ride, celebrating the accomplishments of our wounded, ill and injured Marines, and to learn more about the support the Regiment offers.

Q2: What time does the event start?
A2: The event starts at 10:00 a.m. - noon. Riders are encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before the departure time.

Q3: Is there parking?
A3: There is parking available at the event. When you arrive, please follow signs for the event parking.

Q4: What are the equipment requirements?
A4: All guests who want to participate in the nature ride must bring their own bicycle and helmet. Gear will only be provided to wounded, ill and injured Marines who are attending the event with the Wounded Warrior Regiment.

A5: The Wounded Warrior Regiment’s nature ride is a free event.

A6: From: Marine Corps Base Quantico:

  1. Head west on Mullen Ave toward Kelton Ave
  2. Turn left onto Kelton Ave
  3. Turn right onto Russell Rd
  4. Take the ramp onto U.S. 1 N
