Gifts to the Individual Marine
Service members (including their families) may not ask for or directly or indirectly accept a gift offered because of their official position or by a prohibited source*, unless an exception applies. There are twenty-one common exceptions to the gift rule. Within the WWR, four exceptions routinely apply:
