Wounded Warrior Regiment Family Support

The Wounded Warrior Regiment is deeply committed to the welfare of the wounded, ill, or injured (WII) Marines in their care. We are equally committed to the care of the families of our WII Marines. Marines and families have been steadfast and faithful in their service to our country and we have an enduring obligation to them to ensure they are ready to face the many challenges they have to face. Through Family Readiness Officers and Family Support Coordinators (FROs/FSCs), we are committed to meeting the unique quality of life issues, family readiness, and support needs of the Marines and families we serve.

The goal of personal and family readiness programs is to provide resource information and training in addition to support services to enhance a Marine’s personal and family readiness. Due to the complex needs or the WII population, FROs/FSCs supplement the standard unit family readiness programs and the non-medical and medical assets to provide support and facilitate assistance to WII personnel in multiple phases of care and geographic dispersion.

The Marine Corps remains "Always Faithful" and will continue to "...take care of our own.
