Religious Ministry Team

The Religious Ministry Team (RMT) promotes healing and enhances spiritual fitness through all phases of the recovery process for wounded, ill and injured (WII) Marines and their family members. Through pastoral counseling, direct religious provision, training and study opportunities RMTs assist in the development of an enduring spirit, a strong sense of well-being and a foundation of hope and joy.

What Can You Expect From Your Chaplain?

• Chaplains provide an avenue for individuals to discuss issues in absolute confidentiality
• Pastoral care is a tangible expression of care and concern
• Provision of ministry for WII Marines and their families throughout the Regiment including, detachments, military treatment facilities, trauma centers and home visits
• Facilitation of specific faith group needs
• Moral advisement
• Coordination with civilian communities to maximize local support resources
