Careers and Education
Our mission is to insure that Service Members are prepared for a successful transition (last phase of their respective recoveries) back into the community. That preparation can consist of opportunities in high education (traditional or vocational) as well as career opportunities outside of the military. The Careers & Education Cell at Wounded Warrior Battalion West is the focal point of all efforts to assist our separating wounded, ill, and injured Marines/Sailors.
The ultimate goal is to jointly create an Individualized Development Plan for each Service Member to either increase their marketable skill set to potential employers through training and education or assist them in securing career positions with reputable organizations as they transition from active service to civilian life. The Careers & Education Cell will remain a resource even after they leave the service. We will remain available to assist to insure no Service Member falls through the cracks.
