District Injured Support Cells (DISCs)
DISCs are an integral part of the Wounded Warrior Regiment's (WWR)
support structure. DISCs are mobilized Marine Reservists who are geographically dispersed throughout
the country to conduct face-to-face visits and telephonic outreach to transitioning wounded, ill, and
injured (WII) Marines and families in need of assistance.
The map below shows the District Injured Support Coordination Program and how our DISC
team is distributed throughout the nation.
Recovery Care Coordination (RCC) Program
RCCs are also integral to the recovery process of the wounded warrior and is highly valued in the
Wounded Warrior Regiment's (WWR) support structure. RCCs are civilian personnel who are geographically
dispersed at the various veteran facilities throughout the country and provide one-to-one support of
wounded, ill, and injured (WII) Marines and families in need of assistance.
