Our Mission
The Wounded Warrior Regiment's Charitable Giving Office develops highly productive and resourceful
working relationships with a broad range of charitable groups and private individuals who provide a
range of financial and in-kind support and services to the wounded, ill and injured Marines, Sailors
and their families.
The Charitable Giving Office also serves as a conduit and coordinator for many of the regiment's
special events and programs (i.e concerts, athletic outings, family activities, or community based initiatives.
The Charitable Giving team actively:
- Investigates donors to determine if they are reliable and DoD authorized or are prohibited sources.
- Coordinates with staff judge advocate concerning gift offers and ethic reviews for both the service member and donor.
- Processes the acceptance of all monetary donations made to the Regiment.
- Coordinates invitations for special events (official or unofficial) with leadership and recommends courses of actions for best practices and participation.
- Individually assists wounded, ill and injured Marines or sailors with charitable resources.
- Represents command at various speeches, conferences and public engagements promoting command mission and strategic communications initiatives.
