TRIANGLE, Va. (Jan. 20, 2012) - Col. John L. Mayer, commanding officer of the Wounded Warrior Regiment, shows off the work of his staff and wounded Marines in the National Museum of the Marine Corps' newest temporary exhibit, titled "Focus on Ability: Celebrating Our Wounded, Ill and Injured Marines' Achievements." The exhibit highlights the Regiment and features photographs and artwork of wounded, ill and injured Marines thriving on their journey to recovery. The exhibit will be on display on the Museum's second floor January 20th through May 10th, 2012.

The exhibit highlights the Regiment and features photographs and artwork of wounded, ill and injured Marines thriving on their journey to recovery. TRIANGLE, Va. (Jan. 20, 2012) - Wounded Warrior Regiment staff (from left), April Peterson, Col. John L. Mayer and Patrick Onofre enjoy the National Museum of the Marine Corps' newest temporary exhibit, titled "Focus on Ability: Celebrating Our Wounded, Ill and Injured Marines' Achievements." Peterson, the exhibit project manager and deputy program manager of the Regiment's recovery care coordination program, designed the exhibit, which emphasizes a constant goal for Marines in recovery: focus on ability. The majority of the photos in the exhibit were taken by Onofre and show Marines and sailors supported by the Regiment participating in activities such as horsemanship, adaptive sports and Marine Corps missions. The exhibit will be on display on the Museum's second floor January 20th through May 10th, 2012.
