Reserve Medical Entitlements Determination

The Wounded Warrior Regiment’s Reserve Medical Entitlements Determination (RMED) section oversees all cases of wounded, ill and injured Marine reservists who require medical care beyond the duty period for service-incurred ailments. Those who require extension on active duty are placed into the MedHold Program. Those who do not require extension on active duty, or who desire to demobilize to return to their civilian life, have their medical needs addressed through Line of Duty (LOD) benefits.

While not officially attached to the Wounded Warrior Regiment, WII reservists, have access to many of the programs available to active duty WII Marines. These include—

  • Camps and Events
  • Medical Section
  • Department of Veterans Affairs Liaison
  • Family Support Staff
  • Integrated Disability Evaluation System Attorney Program
  • Non-Medical Care Manager
  • Recovery Care Coordinator
  • Religious Ministry Services
  • Sergeant Merlin German Wounded Warrior Call Center
  • Transition Support
  • Warrior Athlete Reconditioning program
