OUR MISSION
The Wounded Warrior Regiment's Charitable Giving Office develops highly productive and resourceful
working relationships with a broad range of charitable groups and private individuals who provide a
range of financial and in-kind support and services to the wounded, ill and injured Marines, Sailors
and their families.
The Charitable Giving Office also serves as a conduit and coordinator for many of the regiment's
special events and programs (i.e concerts, athletic outings, family activities, or community based initiatives.
The Charitable Giving team actively:
- Investigates donors as reliable and as non-prohibited sources.
- Coordinates with legal officer on offers of gifts.
- Identifies existing and potential problem areas, suggest solutions and alternatives to existing procedures which contribute to problems.
- Acts on behalf of the Wounded Warrior Regiment to resolve problems associated with support for Wounded Warriors and their families.
- Represents command at various speeches, conferences, and public engagements promoting command mission and strategic communications initiatives.
METHODS
Charitable Giving Office coordinates the reception and distribution of donations and invitations.
It helps WII Marines, Marine veterans, and their families who may be struggling to meet their financial
obligations or who would benefit from an entertainment or educational opportunity.
